It’s a bird! It’s a plane! No, it’s an… airdrop?

If you’ve been paying attention to Oxen lately — whether that’s on our socials, our blog, or just vibing in the Telegram community channel — you’ve probably clocked that there’s an airdrop coming down the pipeline. 

We’re so proud of the size and strength of the Oxen Service Node Network — owned and operated by you, our community. As a special thank you for all the hard work our service node operators do, we’re using the airdrop to incentivise the ops who keep the network running smoothly. To this effect, we’re running an airdrop program for 90 days, starting on the 1st of April 2021. The longer you stake, the more you make. Because the FLIP Airdrop is a little bit different, we want to take some steps to make sure everyone secures their slice — whether they’ve recently made an entry into the OXEN ecosystem, are contributing to a service node, or even for those long-time service node operators. 

That’s where you come in — our community. If you want to help spread the word about the airdrop, and earn some OXEN in the process, we’ve got a deal for you. 

Bring on the teamwork

We’re offering 30 OXEN to the first 30 people who create a video tutorial on how to register for the FLIP airdrop. All you have to do is publish your video, and tweet it to us. There’s a few things we’re looking for in each video — we’ll send the OXEN your way if your video meets these requirements:

1. Show and explain how to register to receive the airdrop

2. Explain/show that the airdrop is for those with OXEN staked to a service node

3. Be family-friendly — we want everyone to be comfortable interacting with Oxen

4. Only one submission per participant

In addition to this, the prize will be doubled to 60 OXEN if your video is chosen as:

1. The funniest submission

2. The most creative submission

3. The most informative submission

When you’ve finished your directorial debut, tweet a publicly viewable link to the video with the hashtag #FlipAirdrop, and if it meets our requirements — we’ll contact you for your wallet address and send that sweet, sweet 30 OXEN. 

We love our community, and we also love encouraging all of you to join us in spreading the word about our mission to create cutting-edge, decentralised privacy solutions. If you can speak a language other than English, we highly encourage you to create your video with instructions in that language, as we want everyone to be able to participate no matter where they are or what language they speak — privacy is a universal goal.
