These memes are fire: Oxen meme competition

It’s the first day of Spring here in Melbourne, flowers are budding and the sun is scorching. The warmer weather is awfully appropriate, because we’re now 3 months into The Big Burn™. To celebrate this awesome milestone, we’re running yet another meme competition! 

That means all you jokers out there have the chance to win some seriously ❄️cool❄️ prizes for your 🔥hot🔥 memes. 

Some background information

Don’t worry, we wouldn’t send our loyal followers out onto the battlegrounds of Twitter without some serious ammunition. As you might already know, we’ve been burning large sums of $OXEN every single month since June. Once The Big Burn™ is complete, almost 700,000 OXEN will be gone forever — but that’s just the beginning. 

We’ve also got burning baked right into our system thanks to the power of Blink transaction fees. Not to mention monetisation plans for Session (which, by the way, has over 150,000 active users). At the moment, people are frothing over built-in burning thanks to the success of Ethereum — this is the moment that high burn-rates prove themselves to be the future of crypto-economic models.  

Burning is going to be a huge part of Oxen’s future, so now is your chance to spread the word and earn points for the Oxen Knights while you do it! And remember: Burning rules, inflation drools. 

The competition bit (how to enter) 

Entrants must make a post to Twitter or Telegram (only the official community) using the hashtag #TheBigBurn. Entries can contain text, images, videos, and other media. Multiple entries are allowed, and in fact — we encourage you to make as many entries as you would like. 

The competition will run from 1 September to 30 September (entries close at Midnight AEST).

Anyone found attempting to fraudulently boost the engagement on their posts in competition for the People’s Choice award will face the wrath of Oxen’s King of Social Media, Cameron Lee, and all of their entries will be disqualified. He is watching you.

Our worthy competition winners will be publicly bathed in glory — the official Oxen Twitter will post the winners, including their memes, at the conclusion of the competition period.
